Delhi has two distinct identities – the ‘Old’ Delhi and the ‘New’ Delhi. Old Delhi has the massive Red Fort (with a 300 year old city Shahjehanabad inside), the Jama Mosque, the crowded bazaars of Chandni Chowk and the cremation sites of various important political leaders like Mahatma Gandhi (Raj Ghat) & Jawaharlal Nehru (Shanti Path). New Delhi, the creation of the British rule in India, has the stately President’s House, Parliament House, India Gate and other Government buildings around.

Udaipur : Located in the Aravali ranges of Rajasthan, the city of Udaipur is a fascinating blend of sights, sound and experiences. Right from the medieval times, the city has been an inspiration for poets, painters and writers. Founded in 1559 and named after Maharana Udai Singh, Udaipur became the capital of the Sisodia dynasty whose earlier capital was Chittor. The city is famous for its palaces, lake, museums, temples, and gardens.

Relaxed Breakfast at hotel. Late morning drive to Jodhpur (290 kms / 6h00) en route stop at Ranakpur to visit Jain Temple (100 kms/ 02 hrs) (TEMPLE OPEN AT 1200 HRS). Continue drive to Jodhpur. On arrival transfer to Hotel.
Jodhpur: Famous for its magnificent forts and palaces, Jodhpur is the second largest city of Rajasthan and a major tourist city in the country. It is situated at the edge of the Thar Desert with Jaisalmer district on its west, Barmar, Jalor and Pali districts on its south, Bikaner on its north, and Nagaur on the eastern side. Jodhpur was founded by the Rajput chief Rao Jodha in 1459. The city was the erstwhile capital of the Marwar state.

Bikaner : If ever beauty has bloomed in a desert, it has been at Bikaner. Founded in 1488 AD by Rao Bika Ji, it’s located in north west part of Rajasthan state in INDIA.The imposing palaces, beautiful and richly sculptured temples of red and yellow sand stones display some of the finest creations of Rajput civilization. It’s lust for “dessert”or affection for “desert” that tickles every heart to visit Bikaner.

PM visit Junagarh Fort : Junagarh Fort was built in 16th century by Raja Rai Singhji. During his tenure in imperial service he traveled far and wide which gave him vision and great ideas about art and architecture and we can see how meticulously these ideas were incorporated in the architectural styles of his building in Junagarh fort.

Jaipur: Jaipur, the colourful capital of a richly colourful state, is a highly distinctive planned city, made all the more attractive by the pink wash that most buildings are periodically given.
On arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon sightseeing of Jaipur, including visit to the City Palace. Overnight at Hotel.
Breakfast at hotel. Full day sightseeing of Jaipur City including Amber Fort, Jantar Mantar & Hawa Mahal.
Visit Amber Fort : Morning excursion to the Amber Fort, located atop a hill, 11 kms north of Jaipur. Uphill Elephant Ride & downhill by Jeeps.
Visit Jantar Mantar – This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.
Visit Hawa Mahal – The ornamental facade of this “Palace of Winds” is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. It is a five-storey structure of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women.

Fatehpur Sikri : This stylish red sandstone capital was built by Akbar, the great Mughal Emperor, in gratitude to a local saint – Sheikh Salim Chishti who announced that the childless Akbar would be blessed with a son very soon. The important buildings like Diwan–e-khaas, Diwan–e-am and Pachhisi are worth visiting.

Taj Mahal: On the banks of the river Yamuna stands the Taj Mahal, the epitome of love. Built by the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in the 17th century, the Taj today is source of attraction for millions of tourists from all over the world. The white marble building appears to change its hue according to variations in the daylight. In moonlight, especially on the full moon night, the marble appears extraordinarily luminescent.
PM visit Agra Fort.
Agra Fort : Built by Emperor Akbar on the west bank of the river Yamuna and beautified with palaces and gardens by Jehangir, Agra Fort today dominates the centre of the city. The crescent-shaped fort with its 20-metre high, 2.4 km outer walls contains a maze of buildings that form a small city within a city. One can enter the fort only through the Amar Singh Gate. It was here that Shahjahan breathed his last after seven years of imprisonment.

Departure transfer to the Railway Station to connect fastest train in Chair Car. On arrival at Jhansi Railway Station straightaway drive to Orchha (20 kms / 0h50) for sightseeing of Orchha Fort.
Orchha: Orchha’s grandeur has been captured in stone, frozen in time; a rich legacy to the ages. For, on this medieval city, the hand of time has rested lightly and the palaces and temple built by its Bundela rulers in the 16th and 17th centuries retain much of their pristine perfection.
Later continue drive to Khajuraho (185 kms / 4h30).
Khajuraho: Khajuraho is a small town located amidst the forested plains of Bundelkhand in north-central Madhya Pradesh. The beautiful temples of Khajuraho are believed to have been built by the mighty Chandela rulers in the 9th and 10th century AD. The engravings on these temples are sensual and erotic, depicting graceful intimate scenes of the whole range of human emotions and relationships. Architecturally the temples are built in the north Indian Nagara style. The sculptor/’s fine skill and a sense of imagination have given form to human emotion in the form of spiritual and physical love. Every façade—wall, window, pillar, and ceiling—is carved with figures of mythical and historical origins.

Sarnath: A major Buddhist centre, Sarnath lies 10 kms northeast of Varanasi. It was here that Buddha preached his message of the ’middle way’ to nirvana after achieving enlightenment at Bodhgaya. In 234 BC, Emperor Ashoka, a great follower of Buddhism, erected a stupa here. Between the 3rd century BC and the 11th century AD, several Buddhist structures were built here in Sarnath. Most of the Sarnath’s monuments are set in large gardens making it quite pleasant for a visitor to spend some time here. The Buddha Purnima festival is held here in May to celebrate the birth of Lord Buddha.
