Welcome to the Land of Maharaja’s & Havelies, fort & Palaces, a fabled realm of maharajas and their majestic forts and lavish palaces. Roll back the pages of time and experience a journey into the magnificent past in royal style. The magic of vibrant Rajasthan – its rich heritage, colorful culture, exciting desert safaris, and shining sand-dunes makes it a destination nonpareil. The formidable monuments, magnificent forts, beautiful palaces, ancient temples and splendid Havelis are the living testimony to the history and art & culture of the state and majestically stand to tell the tale of the bygone era. Rajasthan is often portrayed as one vast open-air museum, with its relics so well preserved that it delights even the most skeptical traveler. India is littered with splendid ruined bastions, but nowhere will you find fortresses quite as magnificent as those here, rising up imperiously from the desert landscape like fairy-tale mirages of a bygone era.
As enchanting as they are, though, there is more to this most royal of regions than its seemingly timeless architectural wonders. This is also a land of sand dunes and jungle, of camel trains and wild tigers, of glittering jewels, vivid colors and vibrant culture.
