Udaipur: Located in the Aravali ranges of Rajasthan, the city of Udaipur is a fascinating blend of sights, sound and experiences. Right from the medieval times, the city has been an inspiration for poets, painters and writers. Founded in 1559 and named after Maharana Udai Singh, Udaipur became the capital of the Sisodia dynasty whose earlier capital was Chittor. After breakfast, Visit the 18th-century fountain gardens of Saheliyon Ki Bari, and the Jagdish Mandir Temple. View the City Palace, a labyrinth of richly decorated courtyards, frescoed galleries, and marble temples that was once home to the Maharajah of Udaipur. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Chittorgarh: Chittorgarh fort is one of the largest forts in India and probably the grandest in the state of Rajasthan. It is a World Heritage Site. The fort, popularly known as Chittor, was the capital of Mewar and is today situated in Chittorgarh City. It was initially ruled by Guhilot and later by Sisodias, the Suryavanshi clans of Chattari Rajputs, from the 7th century, until it was finally abandoned in 1568 after the siege by Emperor Akbar in 1567. Visit Amber Fort: Morning excursion to the Amber Fort, located atop a hill, 11 kms north of Jaipur. Uphill Elephant Ride & downhill by walk. Amber fort located in Amer (a town with an area of 4 square kilometres (1.5 sq mi) 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) from Jaipur, Rajasthan state, India. It is the main tourist attractions in the Jaipur area, located high on a hill. Amer city was originally built by Meenas and later it was ruled by raja man Singh. Fort is known for its artistic style of Hindu elements. With its large ramparts, series of gates and cobbled paths, the fort overlooks the Maota Lake.

Later a sightseeing tour of Jaipur includes the City Palace Museum and the Jantar Mantar Observatory – a collection of architectural astronomical instruments for measuring time, predicting eclipses, tracking stars in their orbits, figuring out the declinations of planets and determining the celestial altitudes – all built by Maharajah Jai Singh II in the 18th century.

Jantar Mantar – This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.

Hawa Mahal – The ornamental facade of this “Palace of Winds” is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. It is a five-storey structure of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women. Overnight stay at hotel.

Abhaneri: Abhaneri is a village in the Dausa district of Rajasthan state in India. It is situated at a distance of 95 km from Jaipur, on the Jaipur-Agra road. The place is popular for the Chand Baori step well and Harshat Mata Temple.

Fatehpur Sikri: This stylish red sandstone capital was built by Akbar, the great Mughal Emperor, in gratitude to a local saint – Sheikh Salim Chishti who announced that the childless Akbar would be blessed with a son very soon. The important buildings like Diwan–e-khaas, Diwan–e-am and Pachhisi are worth visiting.

Taj Mahal: On the banks of the river Yamuna stands the Taj Mahal, the epitome of love. Built by the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in the 17th century, the Taj today is source of attraction for millions of tourists from all over the world. The white marble building appears to change its hue according to variations in the daylight. In moonlight, especially on the full moon night, the marble appears extraordinarily luminescent.

Later in the afternoon, visit of the massive red sandstone Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, follows. Inside, you’ll get a very good look at medieval lifestyles of 16th- and 17th-century Mughal emperors.

Agra Fort: Built by Emperor Akbar on the west bank of the river Yamuna and beautified with palaces and gardens by Jehangir, Agra Fort today dominates the centre of the city. The crescent-shaped fort with its 20-metre high, 2.4 km outer walls contains a maze of buildings that form a small city within a city. One can enter the fort only through the Amar Singh Gate. It was here that Shahjahan breathed his last after seven years of imprisonment.
